Rugged Smartphone Cameras: Compare Ordinary, Night-Vision and Thermal Tasks

Different imaging functions should be compared by the task they support. A 48MP ordinary-camera request does not establish night-vision or thermal imaging capability.

Write the imaging brief

Identify whether staff need ordinary label photographs, low-light images or thermal information. Ask the supplier to name the available camera functions on the exact device. Avoid using a generic camera count as proof of specialist capability.

Evaluate the application path

Capture representative material using the intended function and inspect the final report. Record software, lighting and relevant settings. Obtain suitable supplier guidance when a specialist function is proposed rather than inventing performance claims.

Keep current models distinct

X5 currently lists a 13MP rear camera. P20 Pro is described separately with integrated thermal imaging, while P20 is sold without that thermal function. These are different configurations, not interchangeable evidence for a 48MP request. Select a documented model for the required imaging task and keep its identifiers beside the accepted image examples.
