A swimming-pool workplace may need a phone for records and communication without needing underwater operation. Define that distinction before using a 1.5-meter waterproof phrase in procurement.

Describe routine exposure

List maintenance reports, calls, photographs and the cleaning process. Ask the manufacturer whether the proposed device is suitable for the actual liquids and methods involved. A general ingress description does not automatically establish compatibility with pool water or cleaning materials.

Trial everyday operation

Check the application, case and glove handling in ordinary permitted conditions. Plan a clean, dry place for charging and follow the manufacturer's instructions after water contact. Record cover inspection and the service route for damage.

Resolve planned immersion separately

Current X5 information describes IP68 under specified laboratory conditions and does not confirm a universal 1.5-meter pool-use allowance. If underwater operation is mandatory, require a supported solution for that purpose. Otherwise evaluate the routine job directly and keep its acceptance criteria separate from immersion evidence. This avoids buying to an unnecessary slogan while overlooking the actual reporting and charging workflow.
