Judge a 4G work tablet by the time needed to deliver a complete field record to its receiving system. A mobile-network icon or an isolated download result does not demonstrate that a report with photographs will arrive correctly at the office.
Define the start and the finish
Use the real work application and a non-sensitive report with a recorded attachment count and total size. Start the timer when the operator submits the ready report. Stop when an authorized reviewer can open the complete receiving record. Record any distinction between the app's “sent” message and actual availability.
| Record | What it helps establish |
|---|---|
| Tablet version, build and app version | The evaluated software and hardware combination |
| Operator, SIM plan, place and time | The conditions of the observed mobile connection |
| Report size and attachment count | The amount of work being transferred |
| Submit time and complete-record time | The end-to-end completion interval |
| Retries, errors and manual steps | Work required beyond a successful first attempt |
Locate the delay before changing the device
Check where the process stops: preparing attachments, connecting, transferring, processing at the server or opening for the reviewer. Repeat the same report under an approved comparison connection if the app owner permits it. That can help investigation, but one comparison cannot isolate every cause.
Keep configuration and coverage separate
The T1 listing distinguishes Gray Android 16 and Green Android 10 versions. Specify the offered hardware and software together, then confirm the intended carrier and regional configuration. An operating-system label alone does not establish network speed or carrier suitability.
Set the acceptable completion time with the team that needs the report. Include an error-handling requirement for records that do not arrive. Send Phonemax the destination, carrier and upload workflow before selecting the sample. No measured throughput, guaranteed transfer time or carrier approval is reported here.
