Describe the installation
Record whether the handset is carried, docked or mounted, whether sunlight reaches it and whether it is charging. Identify nearby heat sources and the ventilation available around any enclosure. Ask a test provider how the setup should be represented.
Specify active function
List screen brightness, data traffic, camera or GNSS use and the required duration. Ask the manufacturer about thermal controls and functions that may be limited. Separate normal operation from safe charging and switched-off storage ranges.
Validate the final build
Require hardware revision, battery and software identity in the report. Record each endpoint result and any temperature transitions. A component's rated limit should not be copied into a finished-phone claim without system evidence.
