When a mounted tablet fails intermittently around machinery, record the operating stage rather than labeling every interruption a vibration failure. An app restart, power interruption and lost connection need separate evidence before the cause can be identified.
Build an event timeline
| Stage | Observation to record |
|---|---|
| Before operation | Device build, app, power source and initial connection state |
| Normal operating transition | Time, authorized observer and the visible symptom |
| After the event | Device power state, app state and saved job result |
| Recovery | What restored operation and whether work was duplicated or lost |
Change one factor in an approved test
Give the timeline to the responsible installer and application support team. Ask them to choose a safe, controlled way to distinguish power, communication, software and mechanical issues. Keep the mounting kit and cable details in the record. Do not alter machinery operation, bypass safeguards or manipulate connections on moving equipment to reproduce a fault.
A correlation with an operating stage is a useful hypothesis, not proof of a mechanical cause. If a laboratory evaluation is required, request the relevant environmental test plan and evidence for the actual assembly.
The N1 listing describes a rugged navigation platform, but no heavy-machinery installation or fault-isolation result is established here. No test measurements are reported in this guide.
Use the powered vibration-test checklist if a test is proposed. Send Phonemax a sanitized event record and the kit configuration.
