Check the connector, Android version, supported app, permissions and power draw. Install the app on the exact phone model that will be deployed. Confirm image capture, export format and offline use during a short pilot.
Evaluate the thermal task
Request the sensor resolution, field of view, focus range and stated temperature measurement specifications, if measurement is required. Test on a known target in the expected environment. Keep the results separate from the published 25 g claim so buyers can judge portability and imaging suitability independently.
