A fleet's network result should be tied to the tested hardware and firmware. A familiar 5G product name is not enough to approve every later configuration.
Record the baseline
Keep model, variant, firmware, SIM plan and published bands with the trial results. Identify the applications and accessories involved. Resolve naming differences between the quotation and sample before ordering.
Agree on change review
Ask how the supplier communicates relevant hardware or firmware changes. Recheck ordinary calls, uploads and recovery when a change affects the accepted configuration. Keep failures and their resolution visible rather than relying on a generic confirmation that the device supports 5G.
Use P20 evidence accurately
Current P20 information describes a 5G rugged device with its own band list and no integrated thermal camera. P20 Pro is a separate thermal option. Preserve the selected version on the order. X5 is currently 4G and cannot inherit a P20 network result. Maintaining these identifiers makes later delivery and support comparisons useful instead of mixing results from different devices.
