When comparing rugged-phone samples, record the software build and configuration beside every result. Otherwise, a later difference may be attributed to the supplier or hardware when the tested setups were not comparable.

Do not rank different configurations as if they were one
The T1 tablet listing illustrates the issue: Gray is specified as 6GB+128GB with Android 16, while Green is 8GB+128GB with Android 10. A result on one configuration should not be silently assigned to the other.
This example is a tablet comparison, not proof of a 6GB smartphone option. Confirm a suitable phone separately if that is the requirement.
Document changes during evaluation
If the app, build or accessory changes, retain the earlier result and label the new run. Record whether the change was intended to resolve a known issue. Do not overwrite a failed result with a later pass that used a different setup.
Where conditions cannot be matched, describe the difference and avoid treating it as a clean performance ranking. Decide whether the remaining uncertainty needs another targeted check.
