After a connection interruption, a dispatch tablet should make the current job state clear to the authorized operator. Define how the app distinguishes a received assignment, an acknowledgement and a pending response. A restored network icon is not proof that dispatch and the worker agree.
Describe one dispatch exchange
| Exchange stage | Question to settle |
|---|---|
| Assignment created | Which unique job is sent to which account? |
| Assignment displayed | How is the worker shown the current instruction? |
| Response submitted | What distinguishes pending from acknowledged? |
| Connection interrupted | Which app actions remain supported? |
| Connection restored | How are changed, withdrawn or outstanding assignments reconciled? |
Evaluate stale instructions deliberately
With the app provider, use a test assignment that changes while the connection is unavailable. Check the tablet and dispatch system after reconnection. Record which version appears, what the operator must do and whether an acknowledgement reached the correct job. Do not invent conflict-resolution behavior from a “seamless connectivity” product phrase.
Keep installation and application acceptance separate
The N1 is positioned for navigation and roadbooks. That does not certify a dispatch app, continuous mobile coverage or a particular vehicle installation. Confirm the selected app and device setup together; compare the T1 for general industrial field-work requirements.
Conduct manual setup and interaction checks with a safely stationary vehicle and non-sensitive test data. The fleet owner should define operating procedures; the software provider should explain session and job-state behavior.
Discuss the proposed device configuration with Phonemax. This is an application acceptance scenario, not a measured reconnect result or a guarantee of uninterrupted dispatch, retained sessions or safety-critical communication.
