Need an NFC rugged phone with biometric authentication? The current Phonemax X5 provides a verified current example, but biometric support depends on the version selected.
Current X5 NFC support
NFC is listed in the current X5 product specification. Actual NFC services depend on region, software, applications and service providers.
Fingerprint support is version-specific
The T615 Full-Band Version includes side fingerprint unlock. The G81 Europe & Asia version does not include a fingerprint sensor. Buyers who require biometric authentication should therefore choose the correct T615 configuration.
Do not assume every biometric method is supported
This page uses fingerprint unlock as the verified biometric method. It does not claim face recognition or other biometric systems unless the current product documentation explicitly lists them.
Other current X5 facts
The X5 runs Android 16, has a 5.3-inch display, a 5000mAh battery and IP68-rated water and dust resistance.
Bottom line
The X5 T615 version combines verified NFC and side fingerprint unlock. The G81 version should not be represented as having fingerprint authentication.
