A 7-inch screen requirement and a sunlight-readability requirement need separate evidence. Neither a rugged label nor a display diagonal proves the application will be readable in the intended outdoor setting. This page does not verify a current Phonemax 7-inch sunlight-readable configuration.
Define the screen requirement
Clarify whether seven inches is an exact mounting constraint, a minimum reading area or a size preference. Check complete-device dimensions and the intended mount as separate fields.
Use a representative display task
- Open the actual route page, map, form or drawing.
- Check the smallest text and controls at the planned settings.
- Assess viewing angles, reflections and the fitted protector.
- Record the lighting and brightness settings used for comparison.
Evaluate the intended use safely
The N1 is positioned for roadbook and navigation workflows. Confirm the app, route format, mount and power arrangement together, with the vehicle stationary for setup and review. A display claim does not establish vehicle integration or safe interaction while moving.
Keep brightness evidence specific
If a luminance figure is mandatory, request the panel and operating conditions behind it. Do not invent a nit value for a product whose exact configuration has not been documented.
The outdoor display guide explains broader brightness considerations. This article focuses on accepting a particular size-and-reading requirement.
