A mounted-tablet maintenance plan needs a named person who can remove the kit from use and an approved route back into service. “Inspect regularly” is incomplete when nobody knows how to act on a loose holder, damaged retaining part or changed installation.
Write a decision record
| Finding | Plan requirement |
|---|---|
| Visible damage or unexpected looseness | Use the installer or manufacturer's restriction and reporting procedure |
| Replacement holder or retaining component | Confirm the correct part and installation instructions |
| Changed device or accessory load | Ask whether the approved assembly needs review |
| Service completed | Record who accepted the installation and released it for use |
Use instructions to set the interval
Ask the holder, host-equipment and device suppliers which checks and service conditions apply. Have the responsible maintenance team define the schedule from those instructions and the use environment. Do not invent a universal retightening interval, fastening value or field repair.
Keep an equipment ID, kit revision and service history together. A cosmetic scratch and a damaged retaining component may require different decisions; the authorized service instructions should govern. A visual check is not a new vibration qualification.
The N1 product page asks buyers to confirm the mount and power arrangement. Its manufacturer ruggedness statements do not provide a maintenance schedule for a third-party machinery installation. No inspection interval or installed-kit service life is verified here.
Start with the fastening-interface record so maintenance can identify the approved assembly. Contact Phonemax with the installation documentation and service questions.
