Phonemax Q9 Mini Compact Android 14 Smartphone

I have been using the Q9 mini as my daily phone since I bought it 7 months ago, and I must say it is a nice little device. I really like that it has a 3.5mm headphone jack and the size is perfect. The processor is not the fastest but the phone is not too slow for daily use, unless you want to play games of course. The battery lasts me all day and sometimes even two days. I recommend replacing the original launcher and installing "Lawnchair" instead, it is a more customizable launcher and makes the icons a little bigger. The only feature I miss is NFC and I wish the GPS was more accurate, maybe Phonemax can fix the GPS with an software update?

Nice small smartphone. The 4G connection is good, the audibility is good too. It fits well in any small pocket.

I simply love this little phone. Android 14 worlds perfect. The small size is perfect for my daily life, right down in my pocket. And I can do all the same things with it as with my old large phone. I'm stunned. And fast shipping too.

very good mobile. perfect for going out for a run and carrying it without it bothering you. It only needs to have NFC. It would be perfect for paying with it.

Arrived in well packaged box. Put a full charge on. swapped sim card and SD card without any problems. Programs and data were uploaded without any problems. The only issue that needs watching is the temperature of the phone. While doing the uploading of files the phone got really hot. It now seems to be working well under cool to the touch basis. I'm continuing to search for a frame protector. So far with no luck.

The phone is cute, small, and usable - just verify that your carrier will run with the IMEI (as with my 'former' carrier who would not authorize the device).

Really nice phone will probably buy another. Works flawlessly. Very impressed. Good product!

I bought 2 for my kids (son age 10, daughter age 9). They aren't old enough for me to be comfortable giving them true phones. This does everything they want without me worrying about too much exposure. So far it's been 100% android capable for apps, web browsing, youtube, ect. Pair This with Google family link app (for parental controls) and Google chat (for wifi voice and video calls). I'm extremely happy with these. Even found phone cases on Amazon for them.

Since I don't use it for much other than essentials, the q9 mini was the perfect choice for my needs, but it may not suit other people.

The quality is good, although I've yet to see how it holds up in the long run. I did however find an issue with dust immediately getting into the front facing camera (likely through the speaker at the top), but since I don't use my phone for photos, to me that's never gonna be an issue. It might be a problem for other people, though. That's the only thing keeping it from 5 stars so far.

Overall, I just needed a phone that fits in my pocket and can do basic smartphone things, for that it's a great value.

Would really love to give it 5 ⭐ s if it has NFC and finger print reader and 5G support. Otherwise the form factor is Fabulous and it's great for my needs!I would love to buy another soon as they have the above. But awesome for the price. Also no bloat ware.

i love this thing so far! the screen is the right size. not at all too big or too little. it's really light and easy to put in your pocket. actually feels better than the smaller but heavier jelly star i would say. it's fast and responsive. the camera isn't so bad either! it's solid. kind of crazy for the price?
