A phone sourced from China for a winter worksite needs both environmental evidence and a destination-market trial. Passing a cold task would not prove local voice service; matching LTE bands would not establish −20°C operation.

Define the destination configuration

Record carrier, SIM, app language, charger, device-management policy and required regional services. Ask for the exact radio and memory variant. On the sample, test calls, data and the work app in the country where the fleet will operate.

Add a separate cold task

Agree with the supplier on temperature, exposure duration, battery state and functions to be checked in a suitable test facility. Compare the result with a normal-temperature baseline using the same software. Record failures in calling, display, touch and app completion independently.

Use a current product table accurately

The X5 has T615 Full-Band and G81 Europe/Asia versions. The names are not a promise of every carrier's services, and its current description does not establish −20°C operation. Select a regional candidate, then obtain separate environmental evidence before approving a cold-weather claim.

Before shipment

Keep the approved sample identifiers and forbid unreviewed variant substitutions. A production unit should match both the regional configuration and the environmental test record. Include the required evidence and any unresolved item in the purchase specification.
