Build a claim record
Ask for the model, revision, liquid conditions, closure arrangement and report identifier supporting the complete statement. Record pass criteria and any limitations supplied. Resolve differences between the quotation and report before acceptance.
Distinguish protection from use
Read the manufacturer's operating instructions and ask whether the intended task is supported. A laboratory result does not establish that every control or camera function will work underwater. Keep post-exposure inspection and drying guidance available to users.

Current X5 text supports IP68 under specified laboratory conditions but does not establish the requested depth-duration combination. Keep its description within that evidence. Obtain a matching documented proposal if the combination is mandatory. Retain the report revision and configuration identifiers so later enclosure or cover substitutions can be checked against the evidence originally approved.
