A request for a “4000mAh rugged feature phone” combines two decisions: the battery capacity printed on the exact device, and whether a keypad-based phone supports the user's calls, apps and workday. A larger mAh number is not proof of longer runtime. Start with the published specifications for the model you can actually buy.
What Phonemax currently lists
The Phonemax F3 T is an Android-based hybrid with physical keys and a touchscreen. Its current listing states a 2500mAh battery and a 3W high-volume speaker. The Phonemax F4 T uses large physical controls and a touchscreen; its current listing states a 5000mAh battery. Neither listing establishes a 4000mAh variant. Do not quote 4000mAh for either phone without a current specification for a distinct sale configuration.
Capacity is only one part of the choice
If 4000mAh is a contractual minimum, F3 T's listed 2500mAh does not meet that numeric requirement. F4 T's listed 5000mAh exceeds it on paper, but this does not establish a particular number of standby hours or call hours. Screen use, network signal, volume, apps and battery age change consumption. A buyer who needs a smaller keypad phone may prefer to test F3 T's real workflow; a buyer whose first constraint is listed capacity should examine F4 T's configuration and size before ordering.
Test the job instead of relying on a standby claim
- Record the precise SKU and its current battery specification on the invoice or specification sheet.
- Charge a sample fully, then run the intended calls, messaging and required Android apps over a normal shift. Record start and end battery percentage and any charging breaks.
- Test the physical keys and touchscreen with the users who will carry the phone, including any gloves or accessibility requirements.
- Check the chosen network version with a local SIM for calls and data; verify app availability on the delivered software version.
A one-day trial cannot certify a multi-year battery life. Repeat under the busiest expected conditions before a fleet order. If the application requires an exact 4000mAh figure rather than a minimum, request documentation for a model that actually lists it. The present F3 T and F4 T product pages support 2500mAh and 5000mAh respectively.
