Custom Tablet Projects: Assign an Owner to Each Requirement

Before approving a custom 4G tablet, assign an owner and a decision method to every essential requirement. Hardware, applications, mobile service and deployment are often supplied by different parties. A project can stall when each party assumes another has confirmed the same open item.

Turn a feature list into a responsibility record

Write requirements as observable outcomes. “The inspector submits a complete report through the selected carrier” is clearer than “4G support.” Name who supplies each component, who evaluates the combined workflow and who accepts unresolved risks.

Requirement area Ownership question
Offered device configuration Who confirms the hardware revision, memory and software build?
Work application Who supplies the authorized app and confirms its operating requirements?
Mobile service Who confirms the intended SIM, operator and regional service?
Deployment setup Who provisions accounts, settings and approved accessories?
Combined acceptance Who witnesses the completed task and records the decision?

Keep open requirements visible

Use a simple status for each line: confirmed by an identified source, awaiting evidence, or awaiting an evaluation. Include the next action and responsible person. Do not mark a requirement complete merely because a sample has been dispatched or a catalogue contains a related feature.

Use the manufacturer's scope accurately

Phonemax's OEM/ODM information describes customization around defined product platforms, with scope dependent on feasibility and project evaluation. Keep third-party software, mobile service and deployment approval as explicit items in the responsibility record.

The T1 is a possible reference platform for industrial field-work discussions. Specify its exact offered version rather than assigning requirements to the family name alone.

Send Phonemax the responsibility record and open device questions. This is a proposed project-control method, not an agreed responsibility contract, compatibility approval or promise that every requested customization is available.
