Check the deployed radio configuration
A 5G label does not confirm compatibility with every operator or workplace. Compare the exact device's published bands with the operator's requirements, then test with the intended SIM and service plan. Include voice calls and fallback connectivity as well as upload speed.
Choose the appropriate P20 model
The current P20 is a 5G model without an integrated thermal camera; P20 Pro adds thermal imaging. Both listings give dimensions of 172.6 × 81 × 17.8 mm and a weight of 394g. Check carry and mount fit alongside the network trial, and do not substitute the 4G X5 for a mandatory 5G requirement.
