Confirm the vehicle power source, approved adapter, cable, tablet and mounting arrangement as one charging setup. A tablet's battery capacity or advertised charging power does not establish that it accepts a vehicle electrical supply directly.
Ask for an identified power arrangement
Have the responsible installer and suppliers identify each component and its documented ratings. Keep the accessory model and revision in the installation record. Do not select wiring, protection devices or an adapter by guessing from a connector's appearance.
| Power-chain item | Evidence to request |
|---|---|
| Vehicle source | The source and operating conditions identified by the qualified installer |
| Adapter or converter | Approved model, input/output ratings and installation instructions |
| Cable and connection | The specified connection and permitted cable arrangement |
| Tablet configuration | The exact unit and charging requirements |
| Mounted use | Connection access, cable routing and the intended work load |
Do not convert a product fact into an input-voltage claim
The current N1 listing states a 12,000mAh battery and 18W charging. The T1 also lists 12,000mAh and 18W charging. Those facts do not confirm direct 12V or 24V input, ignition sensing, an automotive power accessory or continuous operation in a vehicle.
Evaluate only the approved setup
Once the installation is approved, have the responsible team check the intended workload and charging behavior under its defined procedure. Record the complete configuration and any interruptions. Charging power on a specification sheet is not a measured result for navigation, screen use or a particular adapter.
Ask Phonemax to identify supported power accessories for the offered version and obtain vehicle-side approval from the qualified installer. This guide gives no wiring instructions and makes no claim of electrical, thermal or automotive compatibility.
