A photograph visible on a rugged Android phone is not proof that a usable copy has reached the organization's record system. Confirm where the image is saved, which job owns it and how staff can tell that transfer has completed before deleting local data or reassigning the phone.

Use an approved destination
Ask the organization's application or IT owner which storage and transfer process is permitted. Do not move work images to a personal account simply because an automatic backup option is convenient. Define the destination and access requirements before the first field shift.
Android's offline-first guidance distinguishes local and network data. The application determines how records synchronize; Android version or storage capacity alone does not guarantee a backup workflow.
Test one complete attachment cycle
Use a non-production photograph and test job. Save the image, attach it, interrupt and restore the network under an agreed trial, and confirm the final record from the receiving system. Check that the record contains the intended image once, with the job context the reviewer needs.
If an upload fails, preserve the local information and contact the app owner rather than clearing data to remove an error message.
Plan storage without guessing image capacity
The R4-T listing specifies 128GB storage. This does not translate into a fixed count of work photographs: file sizes, apps and other data vary. Review actual file growth during the sample trial and agree a permitted retention process.
