When receiving a batch of mini rugged phones, match the delivered units and kit contents to the approved order before deployment. A correct model name on the carton is a starting point; it does not resolve configuration or accessory differences.
Prepare the receiving reference
Keep the approved quotation, configuration sheet and any accepted exceptions together. Identify who can resolve a mismatch. Use the same revision that purchasing approved rather than a catalogue saved at a different time.
| Receiving check | Record to compare |
|---|---|
| Model and variant | Approved configuration and device identifier |
| Software | Supplied version against the agreed requirement |
| Kit contents | Included cable, charger and other specified items |
| Visible condition | Any observed issue, identified by unit |
| Exception | What differs and who will resolve it |
Keep model facts with the correct unit
The current R4-T record lists Android 14, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Those figures should not be copied onto another model's receiving sheet. Nor do they establish which accessories a particular order includes.
Separate receiving from acceptance testing
Document checks identify what arrived. They do not replace the agreed application or environmental evaluation. Follow the planned inspection scope and record the units checked; do not describe an unchecked batch as fully tested.
For inconsistent documents, use the quotation reconciliation guide.
Send Phonemax an order reference and specific mismatch before making assumptions about a substitution. This article proposes a receiving routine, not a claim about dispatch quality, inspection coverage or replacement terms.
