A −30°C 5G Phone Request: Verify Temperature, Storage and P20 Variant

A request for −30°C operation, 128GB storage and 5G combines three separate requirements. None can be inferred from the others. A buyer should require a matching sale configuration and documented environmental performance before approving a model.

Check the quoted storage and radio

Request physical storage capacity, available space after setup, regional 5G/LTE bands and software build. Test the intended operator and work app on a sample. A 5G label does not promise every network's activation or coverage.

Request full-device cold evidence

For −30°C, define duration, powered state, battery level and required calling or app tasks. Ask for the operating and charging ranges and a report tied to the complete phone. Keep battery and hardware revisions visible; a component limit alone is insufficient.

Choose the right P20-series model

The P20 is the non-thermal 5G model. The P20 Pro adds integrated thermal imaging. Their current descriptions list dimensions, weight and network bands, but do not establish the requested −30°C range or 128GB configuration. Request those details for the offered SKU.

Approval

Use separate acceptance rows for storage, carrier service and cold task. Do not choose P20 Pro simply because the word “thermal” appears relevant to temperature; imaging capability is not an operating-temperature rating.
