Record what a sample's appearance shows separately from what its working behavior demonstrates. A surface mark, a missing accessory and a failed application transaction require different evidence and decisions. Grouping them together as “sample quality” makes follow-up harder.
Give each finding a clear type

Avoid inventing a causal link
If a sample has a visible mark and a connection failure, log both. Their presence on one device does not prove that one caused the other. Retain the sample reference and ask the responsible evaluator which investigation is appropriate.
Attach the result to the sample and its condition
Record whether the sample was supplied for evaluation, previously used or changed during your trial. Note any agreed accessory and software configuration. Photographs of an enclosure cannot establish ingress protection, drop resistance or internal component condition; request the relevant evidence rather than improvising destructive checks.
Use current product records for identification
The T1 currently distinguishes Gray 6GB+128GB Android 16 and Green 8GB+128GB Android 10. Check the supplied sample against the agreed version. A family-name match is insufficient when a finding depends on software or memory configuration.
Assign an owner and next action to each open finding: clarification, evidence request, approved retest or commercial discussion. Send Phonemax the categorized sample record.
