A 4G phone can be considered for an application-based PTT system only after that system's requirements are checked. Mobile data support does not automatically establish dedicated radio capability.
Identify the service
Record the application, account setup, group permissions and accessories. Ask the software provider and supplier about compatibility with the offered configuration. Distinguish a hardware transmit key from an on-screen control.
Follow the group workflow
Log in, join the assigned group, receive a message and send a reply. Restart the app and return after a coverage interruption. Record missed messages, delayed starts and manual recovery steps. Test ordinary phone calling separately.
Keep X5 claims specific
Current X5 information describes a 4G smartphone. It does not establish an unspecified dedicated walkie-talkie function. Use it for a supported app-based proposal only after the actual workflow passes. Keep application, account and accessory identifiers with the device variant so later replacements can be assessed as part of the communication system rather than by a 4G label alone.
