When comparing Android rugged phones, ask which figure is physical RAM and which refers to storage or an expansion feature. A headline total is not useful unless its components and the supplied configuration are clear.
Label each number
| Specification label | Clarification to request |
|---|---|
| RAM | Physical memory in the offered variant |
| Storage | Capacity for software and saved files |
| Expanded or virtual memory | What the supplier means and whether it is enabled |
| Application requirement | The vendor's requirement for the specific version and workload |
Android's memory-management documentation distinguishes RAM, zRAM and storage. These categories should not be merged into an unexplained comparison number.
Use the supplied model's record
The current R4-T specification states 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. This article does not identify a 4GB R4-T configuration or establish that an expansion setting is present.
If a quotation advertises a combined figure, ask for the physical RAM separately. Keep the supplier's explanation with the quotation instead of assuming that every use of “extended” describes the same mechanism.
Check task continuity
Run the required app, switch to the other app used in the job, then return. Observe whether the form and entered values remain available. Use realistic records and attachments rather than an empty opening screen.
A RAM figure alone is not a promise that all apps remain active or that a process will never restart. Record the software version and actual result.
Ask Phonemax to confirm the physical RAM and supplied configuration. No multitasking benchmark, virtual-memory option or universal application compatibility is claimed here.
