A 5G requirement does not automatically justify a thermal-camera model. Compare the actual field tasks before choosing between P20 and P20 Pro.
Start with the camera need
Current product descriptions identify P20 as a 5G rugged phone without integrated thermal imaging and P20 Pro as the thermal option. List whether the application needs ordinary photographs, thermal information or both. Ask for relevant camera and software details when a specialist task is proposed.
Compare practical fit
The two current descriptions publish the same 172.6 by 81 by 17.8mm dimensions and 394g weight. Trial the application and accessories on the offered configuration. Verify regional bands against the intended operator rather than assuming a shared 5G label guarantees all service.
Approve the required functions
If thermal imaging is unnecessary, evaluate P20 on the ordinary reporting and communication workload. If it is required, assess the actual Pro workflow with appropriate supplier information. Keep the feature decision separate from network approval and current quotation terms, avoiding an unsupported assumption that Pro is needed for ordinary 5G connectivity.
