A large display affects the finished device's dimensions as well as its information space. Before ordering a 6.5-inch rugged phone for mobile workers, test the actual phone in the mounts and holsters used on the job.
Measure the complete assembly
Record width, height, thickness and weight with the approved case fitted. Check the holder's permitted dimensions and clamping position. Ensure it does not press buttons or block the charging connector, cameras or speaker openings needed for the task.
Try normal handling
Have workers insert and remove the phone wearing their usual gloves. Check whether they can see the required screen content and reach controls safely in the intended setup. Follow the mount supplier's installation instructions and keep vehicle work consistent with workplace driving rules.
Verify the proposed size
X5 is currently a compact 5.3-inch model. Its fit results should not be transferred to a different 6.5-inch device. A larger candidate needs its own dimensions and accessory trial. Record the compatible mount or holster identifier in the purchasing list, including the case configuration. This prevents delivery of accessories that fit the bare demonstration phone but fail with the assembly actually deployed.
