A test report should help a buyer understand the device tested and the conditions covered. For a 6.5-inch FHD waterproof-phone ODM project, review the report before treating it as acceptance evidence.
Identify the tested item
Check the model, hardware revision and enclosure details against the proposed sample. Ask the supplier to explain abbreviated names or differences in identifiers. Record whether a changed cover, connector or enclosure requires further evidence.
Understand scope and limits
Ask which protection claim the report supports and what conditions were used. Obtain the corresponding operating and care instructions. Confirm how failures or exceptions were reported. Do not extend a result to other liquids, cleaning equipment or customized assemblies without relevant evidence.
Connect documentation to sample approval
Verify display diagonal and pixel counts independently; an ingress report does not prove FHD resolution. Current X5 information describes a 5.3-inch IP68 phone, so it does not establish the requested 6.5-inch ODM configuration. Approve the offered device using its own screen evidence, ingress documentation and application trial. Retain the report revision with the approved sample record so later changes can be reviewed against the configuration actually assessed.
