For a tablet requirement involving Google services, verify the offered device and software build rather than relying on an Android version or a Play Store icon. Keep Google-service requirements and the business application's own acceptance checks separate.
Clarify what the project requires
Google's GMS information describes Google Mobile Services as Google applications and APIs, available through licensing rather than as part of AOSP. Availability also depends on market requirements. A generic Android 12 description does not settle the service package of a supplied device.
Check the device's reported certification
Google's certification help provides the checking route:
- Open the Google Play Store app on the offered device.
- Use its profile menu to open Settings.
- Open About and review the Play Protect certification status.
- Record the result with the exact model and build under evaluation.
If the store or status is unavailable, leave the requirement unresolved and ask the supplier to explain the offered configuration. This article does not prescribe installing unofficial Google packages or changing device protections.
Keep certification distinct from malware scanning
Google explains that device certification and the Play Protect app-protection function are separate. Turning off Play Protect does not resolve a device-not-certified issue. Follow the official help and supplier support route for an unexpected status.
Do not assume a Phonemax certification result
The T1 listing identifies Gray Android 16 and Green Android 10 configurations. Those version labels alone do not establish GMS licensing or Play Protect certification for a selected unit.
Ask Phonemax for the exact offered build and service information, then evaluate the required work app. No Phonemax device certification, enterprise approval or Google-service compatibility has been verified for this article.
