An 8GB RAM requirement should refer to the exact thermal-phone configuration and its physical memory, rather than an unspecified combined-memory figure. This article does not establish a current Phonemax 8GB thermal-phone SKU. Confirm the offered version before treating that number as a product fact.
Read the memory claim as written
The current P20 Pro product graphic advertises “up to 24GB” and shows a “12GB + 12GB” breakdown, together with 512GB storage. That is not a basis for describing the handset as having 24GB of physical RAM, nor for relabeling it as an 8GB configuration. Request the physical-memory and expansion breakdown for the version being quoted.
Separate three purchasing fields
| Field | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Physical RAM | The installed amount for the exact SKU. |
| Memory expansion | Whether it is offered, how it is configured and what the advertised total includes. |
| Storage | The supplied storage capacity and space required by the intended applications and recordings. |
Test the workload instead of promising smoothness
Use the proposed device to run the thermal application, reporting form and other required applications together. Check capture, switching between applications, exporting files and reopening the inspection record. Record failures or repeated reloads without inventing a universal RAM threshold.
Put the accepted configuration on the order
Retain the SKU, memory breakdown and software versions with the approved sample. A generic “8GB thermal phone” description should not replace the supplier's configuration record. No memory benchmark or multitasking test is presented here.
